capable gunner
A king, who passed by a town, observed an arrow shot exactly in the center of a target, that was a circle drawn in the trunk of a tree.
Intrigued, he realized that there were other arrows shot in several sites, all with the same precision in the center of a target.
Surprised by the ability of the gunner, the King commanded his guardians to look for him.
After some minutes they found the author of the accurate firings.
It was a boy of not more than 12 years.
- Are you the capable gunner? - the king asked.
- Yes, - the little boy responded.
- How beams to be always so accurate in your aim? - the king asked again.
- It is very simple, - the boy said -, first firing the arrow and later drawing the target around she.
So, lets think for a moment if we do that in our lives with the people who surround to us. Sometimes we judged based on our prejudices, we say to them to all our opinion and later we looked for some excuse to justify our lightness,
- first firing and later I ask -.
Sometimes we commit errors or we mistreated people that surround to us. Instead of accepting our responsibility, we put defensives and we tried to justify our attitude.
How much life energy we wasted justifying attitudes with which single we try to cover our errors, fear or insecurities?
How much unnecessary damage we were caused to we ourself and those who we loved? What price we paid with these attitudes?
