love sucks... right?
How does love work? I still don’t understand. Whenever we feel that we are interested, the guy appears to be indifferent. And when we get tired and become as indifferent as they are, they suddenly get interested. It is like a game, like a cat and the mouse game. I’m 23 and I don’t understand.
Is it that we can't find a balance between interest and indifference, or is it that love is a game indeed? because I’m not interested anymore.
Well, actually I am interested, but the thing is that love didn’t only make me blind, it also made me brainless.
At this point of my relationship I have realized that he is not cute. He has always been ugly… I mean: big nose, big ears, tiny lips almost impossible to kiss, no behind... how the hell did I fall for him? I know the answer: love makes you blind… but not that much…
ok I know what you are thinking: inner beauty right?
Is he a nice person? In fact, that is the reason I fell for him.
BUT: is he a nice person with ME? NO, NOT A CHANCE, then, I could easily conclude that love made me stupid, really stupid.
This is a letter that I got from my best friend Kathy, who is actually heart breaked. Kathy I hope you don’t mind sharing with the rest of the world.

Love can do strange things to us...or actually, it's more the infatuation factor that makes us crazy. Also, I always have the impression that it's always girls who stay with the wrong guys...and fall for them. WHY? We should see what we're worth, and get the right guys. I'm so lucky with mine :-) It's also important to give "the nice guys" a chance. Often, girls only fall for bad boys only...
If it makes you feel any better, I'm almost 40 and I STILL haven't figured it out. In fact, I think I'm taking a LONG break from the entire issue.

Maybe it's not love what sucks, but the absence of it.
When there is love, there is no reason to be mean, no reason to treat bad to the other person.
Love is a mistery and will always be. Love is something you can not understand unless you feel it. That is why you cant explain it. You can only describe ways of expresing love but not love itself.
Feeling love in your heart can make you happy :D even if you are not loved in return.
When there is love, you can (and maybe must) do any kind of madness. When there is not love, you have nothing to do.
Now I'm sure.
IT IS NOT love what sucks.
IT IS THE ABSENCE OF IT.
Love is not a game, nor something difficult to make it happen, when its there, its there... and it is as simple as living... you don't need to put so much effort into it... you just live... you don't live for love... you live your life together with it. Its easy... if it gets hard... then its not love.
