Celebration Season
The GOOD: So, my blog was dead since November until few days ago. The good thinkg is that it’s finally working.
The bad : The bad thing is that I didn’t update my blog this holiday season as often as I wanted and now, I will have to write a lot.
And the Ugly :I got a new hear cut... new style... it looked very nice at the beginning but now its hard to put my hair where it’s supposed to be.
So here are the updates.
Dec 2nd
We said good bye to my Colombian friend, Mónica. Se was here in El Salvador for about a year and she went to live in Panama with her husband. That same day, Araz, the director of SSGN came for her country visit and stayed in my place until 9th !!! she was a pain in the ass... no kidding!!! jajajaja she is a very nice person, the kind of person I like to have around because I get to learn. During those days we had meting with few companies here, Grupo Roble, Grupo Poma, Grupo Real and PwC, although PwC was when Araz already had left.
December 12th
Received news from my University, I approved the two classes left, meaning that I DON’T NEED MORE CREDITS!!! I finish!!! Over!!! The end!!! I am ready to graduate!!! That day was also AIESEC’s Christmas Celebration, and of course I was more than happy organizing it. Details and pictures about the party will be in elsalvador’s blog when it starts working again.
December 15th
I sent an international MC application, I was so damn exited, specially after news received the 12th and it was a “country” for which I feel special affection.
December 23rd
Went to Honduras to see my niece, oh my God, she is so big so smart and so pretty!!! I also spoke with the Global Vice-President of JCI!! Why? Because he is very interested in expansion of AIESEC into Honduras and of JCI into El Salvador. It was awesome, the guy is pretty exited and apparently there can be enough support.
December 24th
We spend with family and close friends.
December 26th
I learned that there was a family problem. More than other times, my family needs to stick together. But that’s not it. At this point, the possibility of being present in the elections of the position I was applying for, remain uncertain. So I took a decision, but it took me around 3 days to have the courage of sending the email. I sent the email sating that I was not able to attend.
December 31st
New Year’s celebration was ok, expect for the fact that I was specially sad at my parents beach house. Not being able to connect to internet and with a “facedown” mood, I spent around 30 hours during that long weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon) watching Alias Season 2 and 3.
Jan 1st
My brother’s birthday, celebration was very nice, he had two cakes! I was happy and expecting something like this from my family for my own birthday.
Jan 3rd.
MY BIRTHDAY
I want to thank all the people who called me, email me, posted me, or somehow remembered my birthday. That made my day special, but my family seemed to forget to buy me a cake =(. So they made up the next day and took me to dinner to Buffalo Wings! yeah!!
Jan 5th
I finally confirmed the fact that I am still not sure if I will make it to the elections. So I don’t know if it was the right decision, but I think it more professional from my part to quit the process at this point than maybe doing it last minute. I hope that was the right decision.
Jan 10th
I am writing this post, and waiting for the next big event: MY GRADUATION the 19th
