Last February, when I was in FYRO Macedonia, I met Carlos, a Colombian AIESECer who is doing his internship at HSBC London. He told me that in January he met a guy form HSBC in El Salvador, who was the President of the Bank. I jumped immediately and I told him that guy you met is a very important person in the bank, but is not the president, the President is a woman, her name is María Eugenia Brizuela de Ávila and besides my mom is the woman I admire the most in El Salvador.
Of course at that moment I didn't know that she was no longer the CEO of the bank. When I came back to El Salvador, I did some research and I was shocked when I learned that Carlos had been right, she was no longer the CEO! This man that Carlos described, who is a highly recognized in El Salvador, had replaced her.
I felt relieved when I found out that she had moved on to a more important role =D. Good for her, I am very happy, I admire this woman so much. Not only because she's smart, but also because she is very pretty, and not artificially beautiful, naturally beautiful.
Of course at that moment I didn't know that she was no longer the CEO of the bank. Algo desactualizada vos jajaja, yo a la Mariíta Brizuela me la encontré cuando lanzaron la banca electrónica como HSBC y efectivamente, ya no era ella la Presidenta. Lo que se vende, se vende. Salú.
