If two people observed from distant spot the same figure and one of them says: that is a man and the other says that is a horse, before supposing that neither distinguishes a man of a horse, it is valid to think that they saw a centaur (at the most, it would be possible to be say that as the centaur doesn't exist, both were mistaken).

What if Hercules saw the Centaur? Would that redefine our conceptions of man and horse if a Hero of history says it to be true? ;)

Do you have any weaknesses? DO YOU KNOW YOUR STRENGTHS?

Do you have any weaknesses? I am sure you do.
Also I am sure that you have many strengths.

Last week, an investigator of leadership subjects came to my University. His name is Geoffrey Abbott, he is Australian and he studied in Faculty of Economics and Commerce of the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. He spoke much about the Executive Coaching. It was an amazing session. But I liked much something he said: that the more or less modern theories say that: to improve our effectiveness we must find our weaknesses, then, when we have found the problem, we must work in it. According to his experience, far better turns out to work on the strengths and maximize them.
And, with respect to the weaknesses, a solution is to learn to live with those weaknesses or, if you have time, to improve them, he said. But definitively, we most concentrate our energy in our strengths. According to him, it is easier to obtain visible changes and better results this way. I think I will put in practice this theory.

Can you think about your strengths? Why it is more difficult to think about our strengths that in our weaknesses? Why don't we dadecate more time to our strengths?
